In-Folks in II Encounter of Celtiberic and Folk Festival Programmers

Today,
23rd June at
19h15 in the
II Encounter of Celtiberic and Folk Programmers, taking place at
Poborina Folk Festival, in Teruel, Spain, Juan Ramón Campos, Project Manager at
PédeXumbo and Executive Programme Coordinator at
Festival Andanças, in Portugal, will give a Skype talk, about In-Folks project, part of the panel on Associations and Folk Festival Networks.
IN-Folks takes part in EXIB
IN-Folks was represented at
EXIB (Exhibition of Iberoamerican Music), which took place, this year, in the historical city of Évora, where
PédeXumbo, the association behind
IN-Folks, has its headquarters. In the beautiful Manuelino style Palace of D. Manuel,
IN-Folks team welcomed those who came to the stand, and took the chance to informally introduce and promote the network's objectives and ideas. Juan Ramon Campos, the coordinator, also joined the
II Encounter of Festivals of Ibero-american music, an encounter directed to attract festivals from all over the world, with the aim to promote Ibero-American Music (Latin America, Portugal and Spain). It was, overall, a very positive few days for
IN-Folks, that brought new contacts
, new ideias and new projects. More news soon.
Ethno Portugal 2016: Applications open to all musicians and dancers

The applications for
Ethno Portugal 2016 are open from the
1st February to the 31st May. Folk musicians and dancers from around the world can join the biggest artists-in-residence in Portugal!
Ethno Portugal takes place in
Castelo de Vide, from 22nd July to 1st August. More info

IN-Folks will be in the World Music Expo - Womex, Budapest

International Networking of Folk Festival will take part in the next edition of
Womex to exchange experiences with other festivals.
IN-Folks at "Fira Mediterrànea de Manresa"

In-Folks was invited to participate in the next edition of Fira Mediterrànea de Manresa (Catalonia), to present and discuss the activity plan for 2016.
IN-Folks took part in the "EXIB Música" - Bilbao - Spain

IN-Folks was in the first Meeting of "Festivals for the Iberoamerican Music" exchanging experiences between artistic directors and programers.
